Reedeeming licenses on behalf of a learner
If your learners do not have email, and/or it is difficult to send them the license redemption link as explained in License Assignment and Management, you have the option of logging in as a learner and redeeming the license for them. To do so:
- Copy the redemption link for the license you wish to assign to a learner from the Licenses Purchased page (see the Assigning Licenses section of the License Assignment and Management page).
- Then, log in as that user using the following instructions: How do I view the system as my learners see it?
- Go to Manage My Organization > Manage Users.
- Click on the name of the learner to whom you wish to assign the license. This will take you to their profile page.
- On the right side of the page in the Administration section, click Log in as.
- If the learner has already logged into the system, the following message will display.
- If the learner has not logged into the system yet and hence has not accepted the End User License Agreement, a message will display saying that you cannot accept it on the user's behalf.
- Paste (Ctrl+V) the license redemption code you copied into the browser URL bar, and then press Enter.
A message will display indicating that the license has been redeemed by that user. - Then, click on the down
carat at the top right next, and click Log out from the menu that displays.
- Log back into the system as yourself, and repeat the above steps for any additional licenses you wish to redeem on behalf of users.
