What is a license in METALFORM EDU?
A license gives end users access to the full METALFORM EDU library of content (800+ courses) for a specified period of time. After a manager has purchased a license(s) to a content library, that license is available to the manager to assign to a user for the length of time the license(s) is valid.
- Members can purchase 1, 3, 6 and 12-month licenses.
- Annual and 1-month licenses are available to non-members.
A license must be assigned to an employee (user) before the employee can be enrolled in any courses. A valid license is also necessary for an employee to view their training history; managers can view employee training histories at all times.
Licenses are activated only once an employee logs in and redeems/consumes them. In other words, the 1, 3, 6 or 12-month countdown only starts once the license is consumed. Redeeming a license is done by clicking on a link provided by the employee's manager.
